Preston will start their 2016/17 Sky Bet Championship campaign against Reading at the Madejski Stadium on August 6, followed by a home clash with Fulham on August 13.
Simon Grayson's men will host Leeds United on Boxing Day, before facing Sheffield Wednesday at home on December 31 and travelling to Burton Albion on January 2.
The Lilywhites face rivals Blackburn at Deepdale on December 10, with the return tie to be played on March 18.
Preston's final scheduled game of the campaign will be against Wolves at Molineux on May 7.
