Watford say there have been no inquiries for midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure following reports claiming he is a Deadline Day target for Chelsea.

According to newspaper reports on Thursday, Chelsea are interested in a deal for the 26-year-old, who has previously been subject of interest from French champions Paris Saint-Germain this month, as a replacement for Cesc Fabregas.

But Watford insists they have had no inquiries for any of their players and maintain no one will be leaving the club on Deadline Day.

"It is new because it is another club but it is the same news as the last days and the last weeks. I don't know anything new about that," Watford head coach Gracia said about the midfielder, who has missed the team's last three matches through injury.

"In this moment I am concerned about Doucoure's evolution because I want him to recover as soon as possible because he is an important player for us."
