Watford have agreed a £13m deal to sign Juventus' Roberto Pereyra, a source has told Sky Sports News HQ.
Sky sources understand the Hornets are working tirelessly to bring the Argentina international to Vicarage Road.
The club have already had one bid of £7.8m for the Argentina international rejected by the Italian champions.
The 25-year-old is known to the Watford's owners, who also own Udinese, where Pereyra played for four years until he joined Juve in 2015.
Watford are keen to add a creative midfielder to their squad after allowing Almen Abdi to leave for Sheffield Wednesday.
The Hornets are also looking to sign a central defender before the transfer window closes on August 31.
