Marko Arnautovic's return to action for West Ham ended with him leaving Molineux on crutches after limping off with a suspected foot injury in the 3-0 loss at Wolves.
The forward, playing in his first match since signing a new contract extension at West Ham, was caught by the follow-through of Ruben Neves' clearance in the 72nd minute of the game.
The 29-year-old spent a couple of minutes down injured and appeared to be struggling to put any weight on his right leg on the sidelines before being replaced by Javier Hernandez. It was Arnautovic's first appearance since January 12.
After the game, West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini said: "We'll see what has happened with Marko's feet, maybe he has an important injury. I hope we will find out what will happen with him tomorrow (Wednesday)."
Arnautovic declared his commitment to West Ham over the weekend after penning his new deal, having been the subject of transfer bids from China.
He had previously asked to leave the club, via his brother and agent, before West Ham told him he could leave for £50m.
In the build-up to Tuesday's defeat, West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini would not rule out Arnautovic leaving the club in the summer.
