West Ham United's Dimitri Payet has won the Carling Premier League Goal of the Month award for October after his strike against Middlesbrough.
Payet brought the London Stadium to its feet with a stunning solo effort in the 1-1 draw with Boro which ended a miserable run of results for the Hammers in the Premier League.
The Frenchman turned Antonio Barragan on the left wing, sprinted away from Marten de Roon, danced past Calum Chambers and Ben Gibson before selling George Friend an outrageous dummy to leave the Middlesbrough man seeing stars.
From there, he kept his cool to fire a low effort into the bottom corner to cap an incredible solo effort.
The celebration told the story of West Ham's and his own frustrations, as up until that point no player had attempted that many shots (17) without scoring in the Premier League this season than Payet.
