Manchester United youngster Joe Riley has joined League One leaders Sheffield United on loan for the rest of the season.
The 20-year old played 85 minutes for Man United’s U23 on Monday night against Liverpool.
It is understood manager Chris Wilder was keen for the 20-year old to prove his fitness following a recent hamstring concern.
The midfielder, who can also play at full back, has made two senior appearances for Manchester United - last season, in the FA Cup and the Europa league, against Shrewsbury and Midtjylland respectively.
