Gabriel Jesus insists Manchester City are not unbeatable yet, despite extending their English top-flight winning run to 16 matches with a 4-1 victory over Tottenham on Saturday.

City are undefeated in 18 matches and currently sit 14 points clear at the top of the Premier League, having dropped only two points this campaign.

But Jesus, who missed a penalty in the win over Spurs at the Etihad, insists nobody in the City squad is getting carried away with their sensational form.

"This was one of our best performances this season, against a really good opponent that has brilliant players," the Brazil international forward said.

"So well done to us, not just because of the result, but also the way that we've beaten Tottenham. The score could have been even larger.

"Our team is performing excellently but there are other clubs doing the same. We can't think that we're unbeatable and we have to keep our focus game by game."
