Pep Guardiola has been named Premier League Manager of the Month for September after guiding Manchester City to the top of the table.
Guardiola's men currently top the standings on goal difference, just above local rivals Manchester United, having made an impressive start to the season.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss has his side playing some scintillating football and they won all four of their Premier League matches in September, scoring 17 goals in the process.
They began the month with a 5-0 win at home to Liverpool and followed that with a 6-0 win at Watford and a 5-0 dismissal of Crystal Palace back at the Etihad.
And City capped one of the most impressive months in Premier League history with a 1-0 victory at reigning champions Chelsea on 30 September.
That outstanding set of results were good enough for Guardiola to get the Manager of the Month nod ahead of fellow nominees Jose Mourinho (Manchester United), Mauricio Pochettino (Tottenham) and Arsene Wenger (Arsenal).
It was the second time Guardiola has won the award since he took charge of City in the summer of 2016.
