Lucy Bronze is in Lyon as an announcement confirming her arrival from Manchester City Women edges closer.
Sky sources reported on Monday that the two-time PFA Player of the Year was on the verge of joining the Champions League holders, who eliminated City in the semi-finals of last year's competition.
Bronze joined City at the end of 2014 after winning consecutive league titles with Liverpool Ladies.
The 25-year-old was a league title winner again last season at City. She also helped City win the Continental Tyres Cup as well as the Women's FA Cup at Wembley in May.
The 48-cap England international helped the Lionesses to the semi-finals of Euro 2017 earlier this summer.
Bronze was a standout performer for England during the tournament and her stellar performances over the last 12 months have seen her shortlisted - alongside England team-mate Jodie Taylor - for the 2017 Best FIFA Women's Player Award.
