Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta will miss the next three weeks of the season after suffering a muscle tear in his left calf.
The right-back will be a major doubt for the Champions League final in Milan on May 26, should City progress from their semi-final second leg with Real Madrid on Wednesday.
Writing on Twitter, Zabaleta said: "Sadly after an MRI scan I can confirm a muscle tear grade 2 in my left calf which is around 3 weeks off."
City were given some good injury news ahead of their Champions League semi-final second leg against Real Madrid on Wednesday night when it was confirmed that Yaya Toure has travelled to the game.
Captain Vincent Kompany, winger Kevin De Bruyne and striker Sergio Aguero took part in the open training session at the City Football Academy on Tuesday after sitting out the 4-2 Super Sunday loss at Southampton.
