Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta insists he is not planning to go anywhere in the January transfer window but admits he may leave the club during the summer.

A knee injury has limited the Argentine to just seven appearances for City this season but he has featured in their last two matches, a 3-0 win at Norwich in the FA Cup and their 4-0 drubbing of Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.

Zabaleta, who turned 31 on Saturday, made the move to the Etihad from Espanyol for £6.5m in August 2008 and has since made 285 appearances for the club.

He has been linked with a move to rejoin former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini at Inter Milan but Zabaleta is in no rush to leave.

"At the end of this season I will have one more year left on my contract," he said.
