Newcastle have agreed a loan deal for Lazio left-back Jordan Lukaku, according to Sky sources.

Lukaku will be Rafa Benitez's first signing of the January transfer window.

The 24-year-old, brother of Manchester United forward Romelu, has joined until the end of the season.

He was due to have his Newcastle medical by Friday, and will be available to face Watford in the FA Cup on Saturday if the club register him by noon.

Newcastle have reportedly been keen on Lukaku since the window opened earlier this month.

After missing out on Belgium's World Cup squad last summer, he made his first league start of the season on January 20, after a knee problem hampered his start to the campaign.

Jordan was only a youth player at Anderlecht when Romelu left Belgium for Chelsea in 2011.

The younger Lukaku then moved to Belgian club KV Oostende before earning a move to Italy in 2016.

Newcastle face Watford in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday before taking on champions Manchester City in the Premier League on Tuesday.
