Is Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen a doubt for the Champions League final against Liverpool?

Tottenham centre-back Jan Vertonghen is expected to be fit for the Champions League final against Liverpool.

The defender left the Amsterdam Arena on Wednesday night wearing a protective boot.

Sky Sports News understands the injury is not thought to be too serious, although he is unlikely to play in Spurs' final Premier League game of the season against Everton on Sunday.

Vertonghen, who was taken off with a suspected concussion in the first-leg 1-0 defeat to Ajax last Tuesday, appeared to play the full 90 minutes of Tottenham's dramatic 3-2 win without trouble on Wednesday.

But he was pictured by Belgian news outlet VTM getting on the team bus after the game on crutches with a protective boot on his right foot.
