Lucas Moura says Tottenham believe Champions League knockout qualification still possible

Lucas Moura says Tottenham believe they can still qualify for the Champions League knockout stages despite failing to win in their opening three group matches.

Spurs let another lead slip in Group B in 2-2 draw at PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday, leaving them five points behind second-placed Inter Milan and eight behind group leaders Barcelona.

Brazil international Moura scored along with Harry Kane as Spurs went 2-1 up in the Dutch city but Hugo Lloris was sent off before Luuk de Jong's 87th-minute equaliser.

Moura said: "We need to believe. I think we can qualify and we believe.

"We have three games left. We have the quality to qualify. We have to keep working, so let's look forward to the next game.

"I'm a little bit sad because I scored and we played well. We had control of the game and we could have finished it and score the third, but we didn't - that's football."

Tottenham host PSV and then Inter Milan next, with both games at Wembley, and the North London club face the prospect of not playing Champions League football when they move into their new stadium later this season.
