Harry Kane's impressive London derby record in the Premier League.

Harry Kane overtook Thierry Henry as the player with the best London derby scoring rate in Premier League history during Tottenham's 3-2 win over West Ham.

Kane opened the scoring with a powerful first-half header at the London Stadium and grabbed his second goal from a rebound shortly afterwards.

The 24-year-old, who also hit the woodwork twice in the second half, has now scored 21 goals in 29 Premier League appearances against London opposition.

It gives him an unrivalled scoring rate of 112.6 minutes per goal in London derbies, putting him above Henry, who netted 43 goals in 59 appearances for Arsenal at a rate of one every 114.1 minutes.

"For some reason London derbies seem to suit me!" he told Sky Sports afterwards. "It's fantastic. I'm delighted to get a couple of goals and help the team get the three points."

There was plenty of praise for Kane in the Sky Sports studio. "They've got the best striker in the Premier League by a mile in Harry Kane," said Jamie Redknapp.

"I just think he's a sensational footballer. The way that he sees the game, he makes it look so easy. He was the difference in the game because without him you do start to wonder."

Former Spurs striker Teddy Sheringham lauded Kane's all-round quality. "He is a goalscorer but he's a class act all around the pitch as well," he said.

"His hold-up play is fantastic, his awareness, bringing others into play. He can cross the ball, he can head the ball. He can do everything. That's what makes him a complete player."
