Tottenham's Heung-min Son has won the Premier League Player of the Month award for September.
Son managed four goals during the month, hitting the headlines as he scored twice on his first appearance of the season, a 4-0 win at Stoke City, his second being nominated for the Carling Goal of the Month award.
He continued to flourish in the absence of the injured Harry Kane and produced another brace in the 2-1 victory at Middlesbrough as well as making his mark on the Champions League group stage.
He also had 33 touches in the opposition box - three more than any other player - and attempted 34 dribbles, again more than anyone else in the league.
"This is my dream, to get the award," Son said. "I want to get it a second time, a third time. When I take the award home my family will be crazy like you can't believe; they will be really happy.
"I'm very thankful for the support. They support every day, every weekend, every game."
Of the other nominees, only Romelu Lukaku scored more goals (five).
Theo Walcott, Adam Lallana, Kevin De Bruyne were the three other contenders.
