Arsene Wenger has hailed N'Golo Kante as an incredible and unique player he hugely admires.
The Leicester City midfielder was a revelation in his debut season in the Premier League, helping his side to an unlikely Premier League title, and has been heavily linked with a move away from the club this summer.
Sky sources understand that Arsenal have held talks with another Leicester star, Jamie Vardy, after triggering his £20m release clause and Wenger has now revealed he is also a massive fan of the Englishman's club teammate.
"I admire and like N'Golo Kante a lot. He gives you ideas," Wenger told beIN Sports. "He gives you the feeling that the higher the level he plays at, the more at ease he is.
"We are talking about numbers. He has the most interceptions in Europe and by far. He has incredible quality. He feels the game, only very few people can do that. He's always where he needs to be.
"It is very rare to have that in the central midfielder. Not always orthodox, but always in the right place."
Kante is rumoured to be attracting the attention of Paris Saint-Germain and is currently in Paris as a key member of France's Euros squad.
The former Caen player arrived last summer for just £5.6million and went on to make 40 appearances in all competitions for the Foxes, missing just one league game all season and grabbing one goal.
