Arsenal forward Serge Gnabry has returned to the club after his loan to West Brom was cut short.
Gnabry, 20, has struggled to make an impact at The Hawthorns and has made just one league appearance under Tony Pulis.
The Germany U21 international has been left out of the Baggies' matchday squad on a number of occasions this season and Arsene Wenger will now consider sending him elsewhere.
"I am tempted to give him some competition because at the moment, he has not played at West Brom, so I am tempted to let him go somewhere - to do with him what I did with [Francis] Coquelin," said Wenger.
"To go somewhere for a month or two and then come back."
Gnabry has made 19 appearances for the Gunners since joining from Stuttgart's academy in 2011 but had more than a year out with a serious knee injury before moving to Albion last summer.
