Tomas Rosicky took another step towards an Arsenal comeback with an appearance for the club's U21 side on Friday.
The 35-year-old Czech Republic international midfielder is yet to play this season after having surgery on an injured knee in the summer.
But he was back in Arsenal colours at the club's London Colney training ground as he played 45 minutes of a goalless draw with Swansea.
Rosicky, Danny Welbeck and Francis Coquelin could all return to contention in the coming weeks, according to Arsene Wenger, who should have Alexis Sanchez available for the Super Sunday game against Chelsea.
