Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has confirmed the club intend to try and sell Lazar Markovic this summer.
The Serbia international, who spent last season out on loan at Sporting Lisbon and then Hull City, has been deemed surplus to requirements.
The winger played in the Reds' opening pre-season friendly against Tranmere but was left out of the squad for the club's pre-season trip to Hong Kong for the Asia Trophy.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Klopp said: "With Lazar, it's no secret that if he finds a club then we will negotiate. It was like this last year too.
"He's a really good player. I like him as a person. He's now fit and another one who is in the best shape since I've known him.
"Before he had problems with his groin but now he's good. There will be a club out there who needs him."
The 23-year-old, who cost Liverpool £20m when he moved from Benfica in 2014, has made only 34 appearances in all competitions.
