Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed skipper Jordan Henderson will have a heel injury assessed.
The midfielder was forced out of the action just over an hour into the 1-0 victory over Manchester City at Anfield.
An early header from Georginio Wijnaldum was enough to secure the three points and keep Liverpool among the leading pack in the Premier League.
While unaware of the extent of the injury, Klopp confirmed Henderson's problem was not in the same heel which affected the player last season.
Klopp said: "In this moment, it's a little bit of pain in the heel.
"If Hendo is limping, it is probably a little bit more pain. We have to see. We will see. We don't know exactly in this moment."
