Jurgen Klopp has cultivated Liverpool's spirit in a galvanising first 12 months at Anfield, according to the Sunday Supplement panel.
October 8 marked the one-year anniversary since Klopp was appointed as Brendan Rodgers' successor on Merseyside - and the Reds haven't looked back.
There have been high-profile away wins and two cup final defeats in Klopp's first year, but Dominic Fifield of The Guardian believes the German has changed Liverpool's fortunes for the good.
"What's impressed me about Klopp is the belief he's instilled at Anfield," Fifield said, speaking on the Sunday Supplement.
"Points per game is good, but it's not exceptional, and he's got to two cups and lost both. But it's the impact he's had around the scenes.
"It's really about the way he's galvanised the place. He's got everybody believing, and there's hope around Liverpool now.
"He is making an impression on the pitch because they are one of the teams playing amazing football in the Premier League. It's about the spirit he's cultivating at Liverpool."
For all the commotion surrounding Klopp's cavalier philosophy at Liverpool, he has won fewer than half of his 37 Premier League games in charge.
In terms of records, there also isn't a great deal of difference at this stage between his and that of Rodgers.
Despite this, Steve Bates of the Sunday People was unanimous in his support of Klopp, who he feels was destined for Liverpool.
"The difference between Klopp and Rodgers is that you feel Klopp is the perfect fit for Liverpool. From virtually day one, we believed that," he added.
"Brendan did a decent job at Liverpool in a transitional period, managing out Steven Gerrard.
"Although he did a good job at Anfield, I always thought he thought how lucky he was to manage Liverpool every day.
"I don't think Klopp is like that. Klopp believes he and Liverpool were made for each other - and they probably are.
"The only thing Klopp needs to do is deliver that title they haven't won since 1990. Under Klopp, you believe they are capable of that."
