Dejan Lovren's chances of being available for Friday's trip to Chelsea have greatly improved, following an image he posted on Instagram, which appears to show that his heavily bruised eye is on the mend.
The Croatian defender was forced to sit out Saturday's victory over Leicester following a training ground accident last week.
The first image he posted on Saturday showed a huge swelling under the right eye, although an update posted on Tuesday titled 'Looks Much Better' shows great improvement.
The swelling has gone down considerably and Sky Sports News HQ are reporting he could be back in training very shortly.
The 27-year-old Lovren is currently in his third season at Anfield, having joined from Southampton during the summer of 2014 for a fee of £20m.
