Liverpool attacking midfielder Luis Alberto has joined Lazio on a permanent deal.

The Spanish midfielder has agreed personal terms and completed £4.3m deal, which could rise to £6m with add-ons.

Alberto joined Liverpool in 2013, but struggled to adapt to Premier League football, making only 11 appearances before being sent on loan spells to Malaga and Deportivo.

The move could be the start of a Liverpool exodus on Deadline Day, as it has been reported that Jurgen Klopp is keen to trim his squad and sell Mario Balotelli amongst others.
