Philippe Coutinho has been urged to consider leaving Liverpool this summer by Brazil team-mate Dani Alves.
Coutinho has emerged as a key player for Liverpool since joining the club in an £8.5m deal from Inter Milan in January 2013.
The 23-year-old scored 12 goals in 43 appearances for the Reds last term as he dominated Liverpool's end-of-season awards, scooping four accolades, including Player of the Year and Goal of the Season.
The Vasco da Gama youth product is currently in the USA on international duty with Brazil at the Copa America, alongside Alves.
And the Brazil right-back, who will leave Barcelona when his contract expires this summer, says Coutinho has the ability to thrive at the Nou Camp, alongside close friend Neymar and former Liverpool team-mate Luis Suarez.
"Football is about living the moment," Alves told Yahoo Esportes.
"Liverpool have history but you should consider playing for top UCL sides. He has the quality to play for Barcelona."
Reports in France this week have also linked Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain with a move for Coutinho.
