Christian Pulisic

After a slow start, Pulisic was a revelation after the restart, recovering well from a pre-lockdown injury, and has been drawing comparisons to Eden Hazard. He scored four times with four assists in the final nine Premier League games of the season, taking his tallies to an even 10 for both in all competitions this term.

Considering he played in only 25 Premier League games, Pulisic had 63 shots - the fourth highest in the team - and created 30 chances. But what the stats will not tell you is about his superb play on the field and the injection of energy and quality he gives Chelsea when he plays.

Kovacic's first season in the Premier League as a permanent member of the Chelsea squad has certainly been a memorable one with the Croatian morphing into one of Lampard's most vital players. He had a pass accuracy rate of 89.67 per cent and had 98 touches per 90 minutes in the league this term - the second highest of the Chelsea team.

He started in 23 Premier League games, scoring once in a 3-1 defeat to Everton, but it is his influence in midfield that has really seen him shine this season.

Jorginho

N'Golo Kante has struggled with injury this season, so it has been up to Jorginho to marshal the Chelsea midfield. He has been a constant presence too, playing in 68 of the 76 Premier League games since he signed in July 2018 - 64 of those being starts - and has had a pass accuracy rate in the Premier League this season of 88.39 per cent.

Joringho has made the second highest number of interceptions (64) and tackles (66) in the Chelsea team, both behind Cesar Azpilicueta. He is also the designated penalty taker, taking his goal tally to seven in all competitions - his personal best since the 2013/14 season with Verona.

Mason Mount

Mount followed Lampard back to Chelsea in the summer - signing a new five-year deal in the process - and has been a revelation as the head coach leaned on the young members of his squad. He featured in all but one Premier League game this season - starting in 32 of those - with seven goals and six assists. He has also created the second-highest number of chances (52) and was only behind Tammy Abraham for shots (78).

Willian

The Brazilian has been consistent again for Chelsea, and has created the most chances (76) and provided the most assists (7) for them in the Premier League this season. He started 29 times in the competition, and had a purple patch after the restart, scoring four goals in three games against Manchester City, West Ham and Watford. His contract is up at the end of the season but Chelsea are said to be in pole position to re-sign the winger.

Tammy Abraham

The 22-year-old striker is Chelsea's top scorer this season with 17 goals in all competitions, and is just one of a number of youth players who have flourished under Lampard. Abraham had the most shots (88) for Chelsea in Premier League this season although struggled for starts after the restart.

Cesar Azpilicueta

While the Chelsea captain may not have the flair of Willian or Pulisic or the goals of Abraham, he has once again racked up some impressive numbers that makes him difficult to be overlooked for a nomination. He created the third highest number of chances (45) in the Premier League this season and notched up six assists - the second highest behind Willian.

He also attempted the most passes (2435), completed the second highest number (1965) at a rate of 80.7 per cent and made the most tackles (86). However, he will need to use his leadership skills to get his fellow defenders into line if Chelsea are to challenge for silverware next season.
