Paul Pogba picked up another man-of-the-match award as Manchester United saw off Fulham 3-0 on Saturday, but what exactly has changed for the Frenchman?

Pogba's two goals mean he has reached double figures for the first time in a single league campaign (11), and 36 per cent of his total Premier League goals for United since joining from Juventus in 2016 have come in his nine games under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Here, the Sky Sports pundits in the studio gave their thoughts on what specifically has brought the best out of Pogba…

Louis Saha - "He has his role"

The manager has given him the freedom to play more forward, and it ensures he knows what his role is from the start. It's being decisive.

His quality on the ball, there is nobody better in terms of holding up the ball, finding the right pass with the right timing. Amazing.

He's got this instinct you can't predict. He's doing it week in, week out now. The finish for the first goal is about instinct, it's not tactics, it's just believing.

Alex Scott - "He's like the kid on the street"

It's like stripping everything back with Pogba, going back to that kid who plays on the street.

He absolutely ran the show. He knows how to ghost into those areas, he's absolutely controlling the game with and without the ball.

Jamie Redknapp - "It's confidence!"

We talk about managers and tactics so often now, but what it often boils down to is confidence. It's all about feeling good when you're on the pitch.

When I see Paul Pogba I just see a guy who is really enjoying his football at the moment, really enjoying it out on the pitch.

There are no restrictions, he's playing with freedom.
