All the latest Man Utd transfer news and rumours from across the British and European press on Friday, July 21.
Manchester United have turned their attention to PSG right-back Serge Aurier after struggling to do a deal for Monaco's Fabinho, say the Independent.
Aurier would reportedly cost around £25m, with Jose Mourinho insisting after the 2-0 friendly win over Man City that he would like to sign one or two players as soon as possible.
Ivorian Aurier, 24, would be the cheaper option to Fabinho.
Mourinho will hold crunch talks with boss Ed Woodward over Manchester United's transfer activity, according to the Daily Mirror.
United's pursuit of Ivan Perisic has been a frustrating one, with Inter Milan saying they will play the Croatia winger on their pre-season tour as they await "the right offer" and Mourinho wants to sign at least one more player this summer.
United manager Mourinho said earlier this summer he was open to re-signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and the Swede has shown he's on the road to recovery in his latest Instagram post.
Ibrahimovic, 35, posted a video of him lifting weights as he looks to recover from a serious knee injury that ruled him out of the Europa League final in May.
Ibrahimovic does not have a club at present, but was training with United earlier this summer.
