United are considering an offer for Everton midfielder Ross Barkley, but face competition from Tottenham, according to the Daily Mirror.

The reports suggest United and Spurs are considering offering £20m for the 23-year-old, who has one year left on his deal at Goodison Park.

Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann has marked his chances of joining Manchester United this summer as six out of 10 and says his future will be decided in the next two weeks.

Asked about United on French television programme Quotidien, Griezmann said: "Possible, possible."

He was then questioned about the chances of him joining United on a scale of one to 10, and he said "Six."

He also rated his chances of staying at Atletico as a "seven," while saying it would be "impossible" to play under Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid.

The club reportedly wanted 19-year-old Sanches when he was signed by Bayern last summer.

United appear to have made an offer that AS Monaco "cannot refuse" for Bernardo Silva, say France Football. The 22-year-old midfielder starred for the French side this season on their way to the Ligue 1 title.

Manchester United could be able to sign Kylian Mbappe from Monaco this summer if they are willing to pay €100 million, according to Goal.

But the Old Trafford club are not about to re-sign Michael Keane from Burnley, according to Clarets chairman Mike Garlick.

He told talkSPORT: "No one has formally approached us, so he's a Burnley player - and will continue to be so."

Staying on the defensive front, Mourinho is open to offers for Chris Smalling this summer, while Phil Jones will be given another chance to prove himself, according to ESPN FC.

United are interested in signing central defenders Raphael Varane and Marquinhos this summer, according to the Daily Star.

Jose Mourinho reportedly wants either the Real Madrid or the PSG defender to replace Smalling this summer.

The Daily Star also report West Ham, Everton and Crystal Palace are interested in Smalling.
