Even before their title-winning campaign, Leicester caused a stir in the Premier League when they beat Manchester United 5-3 at the King Power Stadium in September 2014.
It was the first Premier League away defeat of Louis van Gaal's reign at United and the game's winning goal also happened to be the first top-flight strike of Jamie Vardy's career.
While Vardy went on to much bigger things, not everyone involved that afternoon on Sky Sports was set for such great things. Here's what those who featured are up to now…
Leicester City
Kasper Schmeichel
Schmeichel was in the fourth tier with Notts County at the age of 23 but his starring efforts for Leicester helped get him all the way to the Premier League and he is now established as a club legend. He brought up 300 appearances for the Foxes earlier this season.
Ritchie de Laet
De Laet not only featured in this game but began the title-winning season in the Leicester team, scoring an important goal against Aston Villa. He later moved to the fellow Midlands club but the one time full-back is now playing for Melbourne City as a centre-forward.
Wes Morgan
Morgan was already 30 at this point but this was only his fifth Premier League game so there were doubts about his pedigree at the top level. Those were soon allayed as he went on to captain the club to the title and remains a Leicester player - and icon - to this day.
Liam Moore
Moore had been a key player in the club's promotion from the Championship but made only a half a dozen more Premier League appearances after this win. There were loan moves to Brentford and Bristol City before he joined current club Reading in the summer of 2016.
Paul Konchesky
The former England left-back had helped the club to promotion but missed out on the title win as he was out on loan at QPR. A free transfer to Gillingham followed before continuing his career in non-league with Billericay Town and more recently East Thurrock United.
Danny Drinkwater
This match was Drinkwater's first against his former club having left United for Leicester in January 2012. It was just one of many special moments for the midfielder at the King Power Stadium before he moved on to Chelsea in 2017. He has yet to start a game this season.
Dean Hammond
The experienced midfielder had been a part of the promotion-winning squad but made only seven more first-team appearances for the club after this before joining Sheffield United. Following retirement, he returned to Leicester and now oversees the players out on loan.
Esteban Cambiasso
The Champions League winning midfielder was an exciting signing for the Foxes on their return to the Premier League and proved a popular player during his sole season in England, scoring the equaliser in this match. He moved on to Olympiakos before retiring in 2017.
David Nugent
Nugent scored the penalty that halved United's lead and played his part for Leicester in the 2014/15 season before moving on to Middlesbrough. He transferred to Derby County in January 2017 and remains part of the first-team squad at the Championship club at the age of 33.
Leonardo Ulloa
Ulloa's two goals against United took his tally to five in five games following his move from Brighton and featured regularly from the bench in the subsequent title triumph. He eventually left Leicester on a permanent basis in the summer to join Mexican club Pachuca.
Jamie Vardy
Vardy's brilliant performance against United in which he scored his first Premier League goal was not an immediate catalyst in his rise - he failed to find the net in his next 23 games. But he was instrumental in Leicester's title win and remains a talisman for the Foxes to this day.
Substitutes
Andy King
King's status as a fan favourite was already well established by the time of this victory over United and he went on to play a squad-role in Leicester's Premier League winning season. He spent time on loan at Swansea last season and joined Derby on a temporary basis on deadline day.
Matty James
James made his Premier League debut in this match against his boyhood club but injuries halted his progress as he missed the entire 2015/16 season. There was a loan move to Barnsley in 2017 but the 27-year-old midfielder remains on Leicester's books.
Jeff Schlupp
Schlupp made more than 100 appearances for Leicester, including 24 of them in their title-winning season, before leaving for Crystal Palace in January 2017. He is still with the Eagles and scored in their surprise 3-2 win away to Manchester City in December.
Manchester United
David de Gea
A difficult afternoon for the United goalkeeper as he was beaten five times, but he was not to blame for the display and went on to enjoy a strong season. De Gea was named in the PFA team of the year and won United's own player of the year award. He remains the No.1.
Rafael
A three-time Premier League winner with United, Rafael was a popular figure with the fans but he did not last much longer after this game, making only nine more appearances for the club. He moved to Lyon in August 2015 and is now into his fourth season in France.
Jonny Evans
Evans went off injured after half an hour of this game and went on to make only 13 more appearances for his boyhood club. Another three-time Premier League winner, he was a West Brom player within a year of this game before moving to Leicester last summer.
Marcos Rojo
This was only Rojo's second appearance for United following his £16m summer switch from Sporting so it was an inauspicious start to his career at the club. However, four-and-a-half years on, the Argentine remains at Old Trafford, albeit on the fringes of the action.
Daley Blind
As with Rojo, Blind was a high-profile summer signing by Van Gaal and this was his second match for United following his move from Ajax. The Netherlands international went on to spend four seasons at Old Trafford before returning to Amsterdam last summer.
Tyler Blackett
Blackett was sent off for a foul on Vardy late in the game and was to make only seven more appearances in a United shirt. He spent the following season on loan at Celtic before making a permanent move to Reading in 2016. He is now into this third season with the club.
Ander Herrera
This was only Herrera's third game for United and he marked it with his second goal, putting United two goals up. While it went wrong for his team from there, Herrera recovered to forge a good career for himself at Old Trafford and is now into his fifth season there.
Angel Di Maria
Yet another big-name arrival under Van Gaal, Di Maria made a strong start at United. He netted on his debut against QPR and scored with a delightful chip at Leicester. But he soon lost momentum, scoring only two more goals before joining current club Paris Saint-Germain.
Wayne Rooney
Rooney went on to become the club's all-time top scorer before departing for boyhood club Everton in the summer of 2017. After just one season back at Goodison Park, he moved on to a new adventure in the United States where he now plays for DC United.
Radamel Falcao
This was Falcao's first start following his loan move from Monaco and while he did find the net in the return meeting between the sides, that proved to be the last of his four United goals. He spent the following season on loan at Chelsea and is now back at Monaco.
Robin van Persie
Van Persie opened the scoring at the King Power Stadium but his powers were on the wane and he had left United for Turkish club Fenerbahce inside a year. The Dutchman returned to first club Feyenoord in January 2018 and has been in fine scoring form back in Rotterdam.
Substitutes
Chris Smalling
Smalling came on for the injured Evans and endured a tough time of it as Leicester turned the game around. He went on to play some of his best football under Van Gaal, winning the players' player of the year award the following season, and is still a United player.
Adnan Januzaj
Having enjoyed a breakthrough 2013/14 season, there were high hopes for Januzaj under new boss Van Gaal but it did not work out that way. Loan spells at Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland didn't work out either and the Belgium international now plays for Real Sociedad.
Juan Mata
The standout signing of David Moyes' brief stint at United, Mata was embarking on his first full season at Old Trafford. There was the highlight of his two-goal heroics in the win over Liverpool at Anfield and the Spaniard remains a Manchester United player to this day.
