WATCH & VOTE: Is Wayne Rooney's goal the best from halfway line?

Hit play on the video to take a look back at some of the best long-range goals in Premier League history

Wayne Rooney scored a stunning long-range goal for Everton against West Ham, but is it the best goal scored from the halfway line or beyond?

Rooney himself scored a similar goal against the Hammers when he was playing for Manchester United in 2014.

And, of course, one of the most memorable goals from the halfway line was David Beckham's against Wimbledon in 1996.

Stoke's Charlie Adam managed the feat at Stamford Bridge while Luis Suarez scored from just inside the Norwich half when he was playing for Liverpool.

Another former Liverpool player, Xabi Alonso, also netted from distance against Newcastle, as did Matthew Taylor against Everton.

Stiliyan Petrov smashed in from long range in Aston Villa's 6-0 thrashing of Derby and Maynor Figueroa scored from a free-kick inside his own half for Wigan against Stoke.
