Ederson
Ederson has put Manchester City's goalkeeping concerns to bed since joining from Benfica in June for £34.7m. The Brazilian has kept seven clean sheets in 12 league games, while his composure with the ball at his feet suits Pep Guardiola's style perfectly.
Pascal Gross
The 26-year-old's £3m move from Ingolstadt has proved to be bargain for Brighton. The German midfielder has scored twice and provided five assists in 11 league games so far.
Sead Kolasinac
The Bosnian is quickly becoming a fan favourite at Arsenal, having signed on a Bosman free transfer after his contract at Schalke ended. Kolasinac has scored once and picked up three assists from wing-back, while the only match he was dropped for saw Liverpool humiliate the Gunners 4-0.
Romelu Lukaku
The forward hit the ground running at Old Trafford following his £90m move from Everton, scoring seven goals in his opening seven league games. The Belgian did go seven games without scoring before his goal against Newcastle on Saturday, but provided two assists in October to prove he is more than just a goalscorer.
Nemanja Matic
Manchester United's signing of Matic raised plenty of eyebrows in the summer, with many questioning why champions Chelsea would allow the midfielder to join another title rival. Since the £40m move, the Serbian has been an ever-present force in midfield for United.
Mikel Merino
Merino initially joined Newcastle on a season-long loan from Borussia Dortmund, but the club opted to make that permanent in October after a string of impressive performances. The defensive midfielder has put in more tackles per game (2.9) than any other Newcastle player.
Alvaro Morata
Questions over whether Morata could fill Diego Costa's boots have been answered at Stamford Bridge. Morata may lack the tenacity of his Spanish team-mate, but eight goals and four assists later, he is going some way to pay back the £70m Chelsea paid for him from Real Madrid.
Richarlison
The 20-year-old Brazilian has made an immediate impact at Watford since joining from Fluminense for £11.5million this summer. Five goals and three assists in the league only go some way to highlight how impressive he has been for the Hornets so far.
Mohamed Salah
Salah returned to the Premier League with a point to prove, and the Egyptian has enjoyed a blistering start for Liverpool since joining from Roma for £34.3m. The former Chelsea winger has lit up Anfield this season, scoring nine league goals and providing a further three assists.
Davinson Sanchez
Spurs' 2-0 defeat by Arsenal on Saturday was the first game they have lost with Colombian playing this season. The 21-year-old, who moved from Ajax for a fee that could be worth up to a club-record £40m, has helped the club keep five clean sheets in the league, while the only game he was benched for was the 1-0 loss to United at Old Trafford.
