We have picked out some standout stats from Saturday's football.
Sergio Aguero impressed and Gareth Barry came up with a record to remember but it was not such a good day for Liverpool or Crystal Palace…
Find out the stats which you can use to impress your mates!
Aguero's away record
Sergio Aguero scored a hat-trick in Manchester City's 6-0 win at Watford. City have now scored 15 goals without reply over the past week but perhaps it should have been expected that Aguero would enjoy himself at Vicarage Road. The Argentine has now scored nine goals in five appearances against Watford and is in particularly good form on the road of late. He has netted in eight consecutive Premier League away starts - one off Robin van Persie's record.
Barry equal with Giggs
There was not much to shout about at the Hawthorns as West Brom played out a goalless draw with West Ham but the fixture was at least noteworthy for the fact that veteran Baggies midfielder Gareth Barry made his 632nd Premier League appearance. In doing so, the 36-year-old equalled Ryan Giggs' record in the competition. Barry can break the record at Arsenal on the forthcoming Monday Night Football.
Trigger-happy Liverpool
It was a frustrating afternoon for Liverpool against Burnley as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp's men continue to struggle to win games against supposedly inferior opposition but it is not due to a lack of shots. The Reds had no fewer than 35 attempts at goal against Burnley on Saturday, their most in over a year and the second most they have managed in a game since the 2003/04 season. It was not enough.
Shaqiri's long rangers
Xherdan Shaqiri has a flair for the spectacular and the Stoke player was on target from distance once again for the Potters at St James' Park on Saturday. It was not enough to earn Stoke a point - they were beaten 2-1 by Newcastle - but it did extend Shaqiri's sequence of long-range strikes. The Switzerland international has now scored his last six Premier League goals from outside of the penalty box, 75 per cent of all of his goals in the competition.
Palace's woeful start
Crystal Palace may have changed their manager but their fortunes remain the same as they suffered a fifth consecutive defeat to remain rooted at the foot of the Premier League table. Not only are the Eagles still without a point but they are also yet to score a goal. In fact, they are the first team in the history of English football's top flight to lose their first five games of a season without scoring. Roy Hodgson has a tough task on his hands.
