Graeme Souness and Jamie Carragher pick their combined starting elevens from title rivals Tottenham and Leicester

Graeme Souness and Jamie Carragher picked their combined Leicester and Tottenham XIs on Monday Night Football.

Despite Claudio Ranieri's side needing just one more win to lift their first ever top-flight crown after Tottenham were held 1-1 by West Brom on Monday evening, Souness' selection includes only two Leicester players, with England striker Jamie Vardy the most notable omission.

The Foxes' top scorer does get the nod from Carragher to partner fellow England star Harry Kane up front.

Carragher was slightly more generous to Leicester by drafting in five of their players, with Vardy joined by keeper Kasper Schmeichel, defender Wes Morgan, midfielder N'Golo Kante and PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez.

However, there is no place for Spurs' PFA Young Player of the Year Dele Alli in Carragher's XI, despite a stunning Premier League debut campaign from the youngster which has already led to an England call-up.

Both pundits agreed on six players, with Kyle Walker, Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose, Kante, Mahrez, Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane making both teams.
