Leicester, Tottenham, Arsenal, Man City: Premier League predictions

An enthralling Premier League season is nearing its climax, but who will be crowned champions in May?

With eight games left to play, Leicester lead the way with a five-point gap to Tottenham in second. Arsenal and Manchester City are 11 and 12 points off the pace respectively, but they both have a game in hand.

Who will come out on top? Ray Wilkins and Davie Provan gave their predictions on Sky Sports News HQ...

Leicester

Claudio Ranieri's side are in pole position and Provan is backing them to go the rest of the season undefeated, even though they finish with a tricky triple header against Manchester United, Everton and Chelsea. The former Scotland international thinks they will earn wins against Crystal Palace, Sunderland, Swansea and Everton.

Tottenham

Spurs closed to within two points of Leicester with victory over Aston Villa at the weekend, but saw the gap widen to five again after the Foxes' win over Newcastle. They face trips to Liverpool, Stoke and Chelsea in their last eight games and Wilkins expects them to drop points in all three fixtures. But they are tipped to beat Bournemouth, Manchester United, West Brom, Southampton and Newcastle.

Arsenal

Without a Premier League win in over a month, Provan thinks Arsenal will suffer further setbacks in the next few weeks with defeats at Everton and West Ham. He is backing them to win five of their last six games - will that be enough to overhaul an 11-point gap?

Manchester City

After drawing with Norwich last weekend, a win in the Manchester derby this Sunday looks a must for City. However, not only is Wilkins tipping Manchester United to get a draw at the Etihad, he thinks City will also be held at Bournemouth in their following match. He then thinks they will lose to Chelsea before finishing strongly with four wins from five.

How will it finish?

If the predictions of Wilkins and Provan are correct then Leicester will be crowned Premier League champions before their trip to Chelsea on the final day of the season. Tottenham will finish four points behind in second, ahead of Arsenal and then Manchester City.
