Arsenal - A

An 'A', without any shadow of a doubt. The first half against Aston Villa they were absolutely superb, just carrying on from their performance against Olympiakos. They are a very, very confident team at the moment and tough to beat.

Bournemouth - A

It is ridiculous really! An 'A' for Bournemouth! [Even with] the problems they have had with injuries so far this season, they have not whinged and just got on with the game. I thought they were just superb and thoroughly deserved to beat Manchester United.

Watford - A

It is just phenomenal! I am going to give them an 'A' because of the type of game it was, one where I thought Sunderland might beat them. Heurelho Gomes was brilliant, he pulled off a couple of great saves. Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo cause so much havoc and so many problems and they have done exceptionally well.

Crystal Palace - B

They are a difficult team to play against because of their energy. They have so much energy throughout their team, they are a young side, but play with a lot of energy, along with the experience and class of Yohan Cabaye, so a 'B' for them.

Everton - B

You have to give them a 'B' for the way they played, playing away from home in difficult conditions, I was there and it was very windy and blustery on Saturday. They should have won the game, there are no two ways about it. You cannot have designs on reaching the Champions League or Europa League and miss those chances.

Newcastle - B

'B' for Newcastle. In the first half I thought: 'My word, they're beaten, Tottenham will beat them comfortably now.' Second half they were a totally different team, Steve McClaren made two very good substitutions and so a 'B' for them.

Stoke - B

They are three undefeated now, so I will give them a 'B'. I really enjoyed them against Manchester City, they are having a super season, and long may that continue.

Swansea - B

'B' for Swansea. They were the better side against Manchester City, there is no two ways about it, they had the chances to get something out of the game, Joe Hart was in superb form, but very, very disappointing for them in the end.

West Brom - B

A great performance. For any team to go to Anfield, it is always a difficult place to go. They went in front, had a very, very close decision go against them, so a 'B' for them.

Liverpool - C

I'll give them a 'C' in that they celebrated as if they had won a championship on Sunday, which was very strange considering - and no disrespect to West Brom - Liverpool would expect to beat West Brom at Anfield. So a 'C' is just about the best I can give.

Man City - C

Image: Wilfried Bony celebrates putting Man City in front against his former club Swansea

What a strange team, I am going to give them a 'C'! I really felt that this was going to be a nailed-on home win, and although it ended up being a home win, they really struggled, with Joe Hart outstanding. They really did not reach the heights.

Norwich - C

I will give them a 'C'. Everton really should have run away with the game, they had lots and lots of chances, but Norwich rode their luck, so you would say that it was a good home point.

Tottenham - C

Image: Tottenham's players show their despair after throwing away a one-goal lead late on against Newcastle

A 'C' for Tottenham. I thought first half exceptional, give credit to Newcastle in the second half, they came out with a different attitude, but the best I can give them is a 'C'. The one bonus, I would say, is that six English players started the game, which was fantastic, and all young men as well.

West Ham - C

West Ham have a lot of injuries, so I am going to give them a 'C'. They are three undefeated, they have a lot of injuries, and hopefully they get them back as soon as they possibly can. But really if you are playing at home, you should have that upper hand on [Stoke] and they just cannot do it at the moment.

Aston Villa - D

Image: Aston Villa remained bottom of the table after their 2-0 home loss to Arsenal

Very difficult - I am going to have to give Aston Villa a 'D'. A very, very difficult first half as Arsenal were just superb, but improved in the second half, so fingers crossed for them.

Southampton - D

They have been beaten again, so I will have to give them a 'D'. We saw Southampton winning these types of games last season, but it is like a lot of the sides in the Premier League, once you get a few injuries, then you are going to suffer.

Sunderland - D

Image: Sunderland lost at home to Watford on Saturday

If you are going to stay up, and no disrespect to Watford, these are the home games that you have to win. They have a fantastic following there at Sunderland, a terrific manager for these situations, so I am going to give them a 'D'.

Manchester United - E

I am going to give them an 'E' because that just was not Manchester United. There are ways of losing and then there are ways of losing as a Manchester United player, and that was not the way to lose. You have to go down all guns blazing and that just did not happen on Saturday, and at no time did I feel that Bournemouth were going to be really struggling with 10 minutes to go.
