Who's left in the play-offs?
Scotland and Northern Ireland are both still among the eight nations who have secured a second chance of qualifying for Euro 2020 via November's play-off finals.
The teams were divided into four play-off paths, with the eight remaining seen below:
- Path A: Iceland and Hungary
- Path B: Slovakia and Northern Ireland
- Path C: Scotland and Serbia
- Path D: Georgia and North Macedonia
What's the play-off format?
The play-offs are played in single-leg knockout matches, with the victor's from October's eight semi-finals meeting in a one-off final, where the winner will qualify for Euro 2020 next summer. If the matches are level after 90 minutes, extra time and penalties will be used to determine who progresses.

Path A
- Semi-final 1: Iceland 2-1 Romania
- Semi-final 2: Bulgaria 1-3 Hungary
Hungary will host Path A play-off final.
Path B
- Semi-final 1: Bosnia & Herzegovina 1-1 Northern Ireland (Northern Ireland win 4-3 on penalties)
- Semi-final 2: Slovakia 0-0 Republic of Ireland (Slovakia win 4-2 on penalties)
Northern Ireland will host Path B play-off final.
Path C
- Semi-final 1: Scotland 0-0 Israel (Scotland win 5-3 on penalties)
- Semi-final 2: Norway 1-2 Serbia
Serbia will host the Path C play-off final.
Path D
- Semi-final 1: Georgia 1-0 Belarus
