Liverpool eased into the Champions League semi-finals after beating Porto 4-1 in the second leg of their quarter-final to secure a 6-1 aggregate win. We rate the performances of the players at the Estadio do Dragao...

Porto

Iker Casillas - 5

Made just the one save late on as Liverpool scored with their first four shots on target. There was little that the goalkeeper could have done to prevent any of them, but when you concede four in one night, a below-par score is inevitable.

Eder Militao - 6

Looked very assured at right-back and scored Porto's consolation. He is off to Real Madrid in the summer, and it is clear to see why the Spanish club sought his services. Touched the ball (89) more than any other Porto player, and won the majority of his duels (76.5 per cent) too.

Pepe - 5

Made a vital interception to prevent Salah's cross finding Mane early in the second half, as well as putting in three tackles, more than any other Porto player. But overall a disappointing night

Felipe - 5

His four interceptions were the most of any Porto player, but like Pepe he struggled to contain Liverpool in the second half.

Alex Telles - 6

A couple of dangerous crosses were not met cleanly by Moussa Marega with Porto desperately needing the opening goal, though Telles did assist Militao in the second half.

Otavio - 5

A quiet opening 45 minutes for the midfielder before he was replaced by Francisco Soares at half-time. Otavio touched the ball just 13 times all half.

Danilo - 5

It was a busy evening for Danilo, but the midfielder was guilty of ball-watching as Mane peeled off to the back post for Liverpool's opener. He then gave the ball away to allow Salah to counter early in the second half, but it came to nothing for the visitors.

Hector Herrera - 5

The Porto captain struggled to make an impact in midfield as Liverpool's class eventually told on the night. Herrera was wasteful with his passing too, with an accuracy of just 77 per cent.

Jesus Corona - 6

Went close early on with a shot which just evaded the far top corner, and combined well with Telles down the left. Corona was not shy to show off his skillset when taking on Robertson, but seven crosses ultimately came to nothing for the hosts.

Moussa Marega - 4

The striker had five of Porto's 15 chances in the first half, hitting the target with three attempts, but he failed to truly test Alisson when Porto really needed to take the game to Liverpool.

Yacine Brahimi - 5

Almost levelled on the night just minutes after Mane's opener, but like Marega he was guilty of firing too close to Alisson in the Liverpool goal.

Subs

Francisco Soares - 6

Came on at half-time but failed to make an impact.

Bruno Costa - N/A

Liverpool

Alisson - 7

A solid performance from the Liverpool goalkeeper, who held the ball well in wet conditions and wasn't overly troubled aside from the consolation goal that Porto scored.

Trent Alexander-Arnold - 7

Found it tough going at times in the early stages but settled into the game and played a fine ball through for Salah to score Liverpool's second.

Joel Matip - 7

The centre-back was beaten by Jesus Corona early in the game but improved and stood firm to keep Porto at bay.

Virgil van Dijk - 8

Another strong performance from the centre-back, who won the battle with Moussa Marega and also scored from a corner late in the game. Also made nine clearances, six more than any other Liverpool player.

Andy Robertson - 6

Wasn't able to get forward as much as he normally does but was still involved in the game and made more passes (44) than any other Liverpool player.

Fabinho - 7

The Brazilian produced a strong display in the middle of the pitch, winning possession nine times and adding some composure at times as Liverpool were on the back foot in the first half.

Georginio Wijnaldum - 6

Struggled to influence proceedings early on but grew into the game as Liverpool started to get more control.

James Milner - 6

Like Wijnaldum, didn't manage to see much of the ball in the first half. Moved to left-back when Jordan Henderson was introduced and impacted things more.

Sadio Mane - 8

Continued his fantastic form by scoring the opening goal that settled any Liverpool nerves. He looked dangerous on the ball and should have scored a second when he rounded Iker Casillas but shot over the bar. Also made more tackles (six) than any of his team-mates.

Mohamed Salah - 7

Didn't have many clear sights of goal but took his chance well when he was played through by Alexander-Arnold, showing Porto the clinical finishing that they lacked.

Divock Origi - 5

A surprise inclusion in the starting XI, Origi played a part in the opening goal as he held the ball up in the box. Otherwise he wasn't involved much and was replaced at half-time.

Subs

Roberto Firmino - 6

Introduced at half-time and got on the scoresheet when he headed in from Henderson's cross.

Joe Gomez - 6

Came on in the 66th minute to make his return from injury after five months out.

Jordan Henderson - 6

Looked lively after he was introduced in the 71st minute and provided a good cross for Firmino to score the third.
