Benjamin Mendy makes his first league appearance since November 11 - with Vincent Kompany also back in the defence - but Fernandinho misses out entirely for Pep Guardiola's side, who are out to climb back to the summit - for a few hours at least - ahead of Liverpool vs Chelsea in the second part of Super Sunday.
Palace boss Roy Hodgson made two changes from the side that beat Newcastle last time out in the Premier League, with Scott Dann replacing the injured James Tomkins in defence and Christian Benteke starting ahead of Michy Batshuayi in attack.
