Ostersunds FK have confirmed the signing of Ravel Morrison from Lazio.
The 26-year-old former Manchester United youth player has signed a six-month contract with an option to extend his stay further, Sky Sports News understands.
The Swedish side's English technical director David Webb said earlier this month that the deal was close to being completed, after Sky Sports News exclusively revealed Ostersunds' interest back in October last year.
The club are managed by Englishman Ian Burchnall, who succeeded the current Swansea boss Graham Potter, and their technical director is the former Bournemouth head of recruitment and Tottenham's ex-head of elite potential identification.
Burchnall said: "It's a fantastic recruitment for us. David Webb, our technical director, has done a fantastic job.
"Morrison has trained with us for a while and we have talked to him about his career and what he wants. It feels great that he is now our player."
Morrison had not played for Lazio since returning from a loan at Mexican side Atlas ended last summer, and the Italian side are believed to have let him leave on a free transfer.
Morrison, who had spells at West Ham and QPR, recently said he was looking to rebuild himself at the Allsvenskan side, whose season begins in March.
