Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez is set to make goalkeeper Martin Dubravka his first signing of the summer.
The Slovakia international has made a big impact on Tyneside since joining from Sparta Prague on loan in January, making the No 1 spot his own.
Sky Sports News understands Dubravka has a clause in his contract that gives Newcastle the option to buy him permanently for £4m once the transfer window opens.
Dubravka played 12 matches since signing on Transfer Deadline Day, conceding just 11 goals in that time.
Benitez would also like to sign Chelsea winger Kenedy on a permanent basis but faces competition from clubs across Europe.
Leicester striker Islam Slimani is highly unlikely to make his loan move permanent having failed to make an impact during his six-month spell at St James' Park.
