Sky Sports readers have picked their England XI to face Germany in Friday's friendly at Wembley, but how does it compare to Gareth Southgate's expected line-up?

The England boss - who has been hit by a wave of injuries this week - is set to name an experimental team, according to Sky sources.

Swansea striker Tammy Abraham is set to start up front alongside Jamie Vardy, with fellow Chelsea loanee Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford also making their senior international debuts.

Southgate's team will also include Leicester centre-back Harry Maguire as part of a back three with Phil Jones and John Stones, with Tottenham duo Kieran Trippier and Danny Rose as the wing-backs.

Jake Livermore will partner captain Eric Dier in central midfield, with Loftus-Cheek playing in an attacking midfield role.

Sky Sports readers, however, picked a very different team - starting with Joe Hart in goal after Jack Butland was ruled out with an injury.

Maguire makes way for Chelsea's Gary Cahill in the back three, with Kyle Walker preferred to his former Spurs team-mate Trippier at right-wing back.

Abraham and Livermore were overlooked, with Manchester United forwards Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard picked either side of Vardy, who was the most popular pick in the entire squad.
