Chris Coleman was on hand to compare his 3-4-3 formation with Wales to Antonio Conte's use at Chelsea on Monday Night Football.
Ahead of West Brom v Burnley live on Sky Sports, the weekend's Premier League action was analysed by the international manager alongside Jamie Carragher and David Jones.
The Blues have had plenty of joy since switching to Conte's favoured back three, and have been victorious in their last six games while keeping clean sheets to propel them to the top of the Premier League table.
It is a formation that Coleman has used previously with the Dragons, and he analysed how the two are used by both teams during the Sky Sports show, as well as explaining why he uses it for Wales.
"We set that up because Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey are our two best players and we wanted to get them into the last third where they do all the damage," he said.
"We then needed a formation behind them that meant we didn't get countered so much and it worked very well for us."
