Premier League grades: Ray Wilkins gives his verdict

Image: Chelsea moved to within a point of the Premier League leaders with a 2-0 win at Southampton on Super Sunday

Find out who impressed in week 10 of the Premier League, which saw leaders Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool all hit four.

The time has come to see whether your club caught the eye, so we've asked Sky Sports pundit Ray Wilkins to give each side a grade, based purely on their performance at the weekend.

So, how did your team fare? Do they get a stunning A+, a woeful F, or something in between? Read on to find out...

Everton - A

I have been very, very impressed with Everton, I have to say. They are playing some good football and I think they have one of the finest managers in the Premier League. So I am going to give them an 'A' as they are coming back into a bit of form and Ronald Koeman has got the best out of Ross Barkley once more.

West Ham United - C

They are so indifferent and the inconsistency is almost unreal. I think the inconsistency of [Dimitri] Payet is giving them a few problems. Last year he was on the money every game, but this year it has not been that way, so I can only give them a 'C'.

Southampton - C

Before Sunday's game, a lot of the top teams would have thought: 'Chelsea away at Southampton, who are going strong and drew at City, they will really put Chelsea under pressure.' But I never saw it, I saw a very average team that did not seem to be able to get up for the game. I do not know why, it could be the type of player that they have, so I am going to give them a 'C'.

Chelsea - A

I will give Chelsea an 'A' for totally controlling the match, two fantastic goals, another clean sheet and very nice too, so it has to be an 'A'.

Also See:

Sunderland - E

I feel so sorry for David Moyes when you look at the goals they are conceding and the chances they are giving up, and defensively they just do not look at it. I was at Aston Villa when they got relegated and one thing I would say about those players is that every game they worked and they worked their socks off. But I did not see that with Sunderland, so I have to give then an 'E', as I just do not see them at all.

Arsenal - A

Another superb performance from Arsenal. This is Arsenal before Christmas year in, year out. If they could keep this up after Christmas for the last couple of months, they would win the league. So it remains to be seen what they will do, but I will give them an 'A'.

Manchester United - B

It has to be a 'B' because they did everything apart from put the ball in the back of the net and I felt for Jose [Mourinho]. But nice to see Jose with a little bit of spark on the touchline, although I do not like seeing him get sent off because he must have said something out of order. However, it just has to be a 'B' because they did everything but score.

Burnley - A

Tom Heaton almost took them on on his own and full credit to the lads, who must have worked hard - you saw every shot that went in, there must have been eight of them back in the box anyway, so it's an 'A' for Burnley. This year is so important for them to stay in the division and I would imagine that Sean Dyche would have been absolutely delighted with that performance.

Middlesbrough - A

It is the type of game that Middlesbrough have to win, they have to beat those teams that are going to be in and around them. An outstanding performance and the second goal was absolutely outstanding, 60 yards and the ball is in the back of the net, so I will give them an 'A'.

Bournemouth - C

I did not really think Bournemouth were at it or were there, they did not play with the same sort of energy as in past games. And these are the sort of matches that they have to pick points up in, so a 'C' for them.

Tottenham Hotspur - B

I think Tottenham are missing Harry Kane more than they think to be perfectly honest - Harry would have put a few of those chances away. They are still playing with the same energy and creating chances, but they just can't score, so a 'B' for Tottenham.

Leicester City - B

That was a great result for Leicester, a nice little spur before they go away to Copenhagen to play in midweek. So I will give them a 'B' as well.

Watford - A

An unbelievable win for them, they are playing so well at the moment. Admittedly they were not playing against a top side. But nevertheless you have to beat everybody that is in and around you and they are doing exceptionally well. The strikers are looking a little bit back to their old form with a bit of energy about them, so I will give them an 'A'.

Hull City - B

For long periods, they were well in the game. They had their chances to score as well, but it is unfortunate that when things are going against you, the own goals will come. And Michael Dawson will be distraught to have scored it as well, as you saw after the game, so I will give them a 'B'.

West Bromwich Albion - D

I really thought they would get something out of this game. I thought Tony [Pulis] would have them set up, they would get after City and give them a bit of aggravation from set pieces and be devastating. But 4-0 in the end, so we will have to go 'D'.

Manchester City - A

They have to have an 'A' as when you have a world-class striker, it is the difference. Sergio Aguero scores out of nothing, the movement is fantastic and his second goal, he makes just half a yard and [Craig] Dawson thinks: 'I've got him, I've got him' and then the ball is in the back of the net.

Crystal Palace - C

I thought this would be a massive test for Liverpool, Palace is always very difficult - they have wide players that can get crosses in and when you have [Christian] Benteke, you always have a chance. But I just think that Palace allowed them a little bit too much possession on the ball. I thought they would go out and press them high and make it difficult for them and hot, make a few challenges, but they did not do it.

Liverpool - A

An 'A' for Liverpool. Defensively I think they have problems and at the moment, defence is the one thing that may let them down as far as winning the Premier League is concerned. But going forward they are scoring goals for fun and are absolutely phenomenal.
