Jon Driscoll is joined by Terry Gibson to look back at all the La Liga action, including Barcelona’s shock defeat to Alaves.
Also on the podcast, Driscoll and Gibson discuss the continued troubles at Valencia and Las Palmas' winning run coming to an abrupt end.
Luis Enrique made seven changes at home to newly-promoted Alaves and was caught out as his side slipped to a surprise 2-1 loss.
Gibson believes Enrique was right to rotate his squad, but went too far with the number of changes made on Saturday.
"He has to rotate, but maybe he won't to the same extent because he's been caught out a couple of times now," Gibson said on the La Liga Weekly podcast.
"Do you remember the year they won the treble, he left out Neymar, Messi and Suarez for the game at Real Sociedad. When he does it, he does it really distract.
"It's a lesson learned. He needs to make the changes, the squad is bigger and better but not do seven or eight in one go."
