Sky Sports F1 analyst Johnny Herbert expects great things from Max Verstappen in this weekend's Belgium Grand Prix.

The 18-year-old has already won in Barcelona and Herbert thinks the Red Bull driver is worth backing again at odds of 9/1.

Verstappen heads into the race in sixth place in the Drivers' Championship but continues to impress and has enjoyed previous Formula 3 success at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit.

The Sky Sports F1 pundit said: "He's a Dutch superstar but was actually born in Belgium so you could argue that this is his home race.

"What you can't argue is that this man is talented enough to take Formula 1 by storm for many years to come and I've got a sneaky feeling that this weekend will see the continuation of the Verstappen rise to glory.

"Red Bull have had great success at Spa before and on his last visit here, Max won all three Formula 3 races that weekend."

JOHNNY'S BELGIUM TIPS

Johnny Herbert is tipping Red Bull to secure a double podium finish at odds of 5/2

With champion Lewis Hamilton likely to start at the back of the grid after taking a grid penalty, Herbert thinks this will open the door for the Red Bull duo of Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo to repeat their double podium finish in the German Grand Prix at odds of 5/2 with Sky Bet.

Herbert is also confident in further success for Torro Rosso driver Carlos Sainz.

Sainz regards the Spa circuit as one of his favourites and Herbert expects the Spaniard to secure another points finish, at odds of 5/4.

He added: "With eight points finishes this season Carlos has already surpassed his total points from 2015. He's out-qualifying his team-mate at Torro Rosso and this weekend I'd expect him to continue that point scoring haul."
