They don't call them the mean streets of Monaco for nothing.
The arrival of rain for race day in Monte Carlo was always likely to enliven proceedings, but few races in the principality in recent memory have proved quite so full of crashes and collisions as the 2016 edition.
The tone was set as early as the first full racing lap when Jolyon Palmer lost his Renault over the painted zebra crossing, slammed into the outside guardrail and careered all the way into the barriers at Ste Devote.
Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen may be a past Monte Carlo winner but the Iceman himself was caught out when he slid into the barriers at the hairpin. His subsequent attempts to drag his damaged car back to the pits then did the oncoming Felipe Massa and Romain Grosjean no favours.
Then, in the third video below, check out how Max Verstappen's Monaco GP ended in the barriers for the second successive year as he made it a hat-trick of prangs for the weekend.
And, if that's not enough chaos, watch a fast-paced wrap of the unforgettable race featuring an acrimonious collision between the Sauber drivers at Rascasse.
