Pirelli have revealed their tyres choices for the forthcoming grands prix in Singapore, Japan and Russia.

As was the case last year, the two softest compounds - the supersoft and soft - will be taken to the streets of Marina Bay for the floodlit race.

"These compounds are perfectly suited to the street circuit characteristics of the Marina Bay track, providing a rapid warm-up and maximum mechanical grip," Pirelli said.

The tyres come from the opposite end of the spectrum a week later at Suzuka with the two hardest compounds - the medium and the hard - being made available to the teams.

Again these are the same compounds as in 2014 and Pirelli say the choice "is to cater for the high-energy demands and fast corners of Suzuka, which ask a lot from the tyres. With the Japanese Grand Prix held earlier in the season compared to last year, conditions are expected to be slightly warmer."

The only change to the 2014 compounds comes in Russia, with the tyres a step softer. Last year's race was perhaps a little monotonous as the tyres proved surprisingly durable and thus the supersoft and soft will be taken to October's race.
