They're at it again.

Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel have enjoyed their fair share of on-track duels in Formula 1 - and the British GP served up another thriller.

Not only did Verstappen jump the Ferrari off the start, but he then displayed his full array of defensive skills to keep a charging Vettel at bay after his move down the inside of Stowe.

The Red Bull teenager was then accused of moving under braking when Vettel was attacking later in the race, with the championship leader claiming Verstappen needed to "calm down".

"We know he's a bit jumpy on that," Vettel said. "He's trying to defend as hard as possible but at some point you need to stick to your line. I'm sure he will calm down, he's not done that many races."

Verstappen, however, who was only passed by Vettel thanks to a Ferrari pitstop undercut, defended his tactics and said over team radio that the German was trying to play "bumper cars" at Silverstone.

"I knew I was quite a bit slower than him but I just tried to stay in front with every possible thing I could do," Verstappen told Sky Sports F1. "Luckily he didn't pass me on track so I'm very happy about that."
