James Wade claims that Michael van Gerwen “isn’t as dominant” as Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor.
Wade became the first player to beat Van Gerwen in this year's Premier League Darts when he inflicted a 7-3 loss on the defending champion on Thursday night.
"A lot of players fold against him when they shouldn't," Wade said.

"He is the best player in the world at the moment but thankfully he isn't as dominant as Phil. But if the other boys keep rolling over, he will be."
Sixteen-time world champion Taylor also won six Premier Leagues. Van Gerwen is aiming for a fifth Premier League this year.
But on Thursday, Van Gerwen missed five darts, then three darts, to win separate legs against Wade who took advantage.
"Michael didn't play his game," Wade said.
"I will always be behind Michael but if he gives me a [chance] I will take it. I made the most of my opportunities.
"Phenomenal player but he didn't play like he can play. But I am not going to wait for him.
"I found it strange that he kept leaving the same finish."
Wade sits second in the table, behind Van Gerwen, and level on five points with Rob Cross and Gerwyn Price.
"I'm really happy with that but it's a long, long way," he said.
"Albeit a few players, I am playing against the best. It's an honour. And I think I'm better than a few of them."
The Premier League heads to the BHGE Arena in Aberdeen on Thursday, March 7. You can also stay up to date with all the action by following us@SkySportsDarts and get all the latest news, previews and interviewswww.skysports.com/darts
